A love of design. A desire to communicate.
It’s as simple as that. Twelve years on the Hill not only turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life, it also led me to my true calling as a graphic designer.
After graduating from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, I worked simultaneously on four state representative campaigns and was bitten by the political bug. I packed my bags and moved to Washington after that election cycle and—twelve years later—left as a Hill veteran.
Along the way, I realized my real desire was to visually convey an informative and important message...turning the sometimes hard-to-understand details and nuances of federal legislation into materials that made sense and that showed why the work mattered, and made a difference, to the most important part of that relationship—the constituents.
Today, I take that same attitude into a variety of projects in all sorts of fields. I'm one of the few who can say I truly love what I do, and I look forward to each new project that comes my way. Your goals, your message, your efforts—all will be carefully considered and thoughtfully tended to in the materials I help create for you. So much good and interesting work is being done through your ventures and organizations and it's my job to represent you in a professional manner that gets you noticed, gets your message out there and lets your audience and clients know you're a leader in your field.
An easy process from concept to completion.
My services don't stop with design. I will see your project through from concept to completion, so if you need help conceptualizing and brainstorming at the beginning or need help finding a printer at the end, I can help. And to make it easier on you, I will always work with your printer, photographer, copywriter or other staff members to ensure consistency and help maintain the project workflow and schedule.
Different projects and organizations sometimes require different work arrangements...and that's never a problem. If you prefer a total project estimate or prefer to talk about hourly rates, or even want to discuss a month-to-month setup, I'm confident we can find something that meets your needs—and your budget. I will make the process as easy and helpful for you as possible!
